Your calculations stay on your device

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type — your salary, your loan, your weight — are never sent to a server, never stored by us, and never seen by anyone else.

When you use the "copy link" button, your inputs are written into the web address so you can share the result. That link is created in your browser. We do not receive it unless you send it to us yourself.

What is stored on your device

The site keeps two small preferences in your browser's local storage:

• Theme — whether you chose light or dark.
• Currency — the currency you last selected in a calculator.

Both stay on your device, are readable only by this site, and are never transmitted. Clearing your browser data removes them. The site works normally if storage is blocked.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies at all. When advertising is switched on, our advertising partners will set cookies and this policy will be updated before that happens.

Analytics

No analytics are currently running on this site. If that changes, we will use a privacy-respecting service that does not track individuals across the web, and this page will be updated first.

What we never do

• Ask you to create an account, or collect your name or email to use a calculator.
• Store, log or analyse the figures you enter.
• Sell or share personal data — we do not hold any to sell.
• Use fingerprinting or any technique intended to identify you across sites.

Links to other sites

Calculator pages link to sources such as government departments and standards bodies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for what they collect.

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since we collect nothing, there is nothing held about a child to delete.

Your rights

Privacy law in the EU, the UK and elsewhere gives you rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you. Because this site does not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to produce or erase. If you believe otherwise, get in touch through thecontact page and we will answer.

Changes to this policy

The date at the bottom of this page shows when it was last updated. Any change that affects what is collected — switching on advertising, for example — will be made here before the change goes live, not after.
